China has had the fastest economic growth in the world since 1978. Since 2010, they have been the world's second largest economy and many think they will overtake the U.S. and become the world's largest economy in terms of GDP within a few years. The question happy lights is if you can call China a developed country happy lights when they still have 150 million people who live on about 11 cents a day?
Mao Zedong took power in China in 1949. He introduced the then Soviet planned economy with five-year plans showing what and how much would be produced. Any property that was previously privately owned now took care of the state. The state took care of all the production and sales without caring about what the people demand, happy lights this led to overproduction. At the second Five-Year Plan, Mao wanted to develop industrial happy lights and agricultural happy lights production and catch up with the outside world by mainly increasing steel production. It is called the "Great Leap Forward". It all failed miserably and led to it was lack of food and at least 30 million people died.
Since Deng Xiaoping introduced market-oriented reforms in China in 1978, China's economic happy lights development has been faster than any other country. That's when the real Great Leap Forward began. The peasants in the countryside were encouraged now to start industries and residents of big cities were encouraged to start private businesses that were more favorable to themselves. The state monopoly on trade with other countries was now taken away and it gave a boost to economic development. The population could now also see how the economy looked abroad and they were inspired. It also led to more people from abroad invested happy lights in Chinese industries.
Between 1981 and 2007 the Chinese economy grew by an annual average of 10%. In 1990, consisted China's processing industry to 10% of private and foreign-owned companies. In 2005 this had risen to 75%. During that time also increased China's liberalization of taxes, pricing and Banking.
The richer China has become that country, the greater has been the gap between rich and poor. While they can brag that they have at least 130 billionaires happy lights and a GDP growing at full speed, they can of course also like to be ashamed that it's more than 150 million Chinese who live in absolute poverty. China has the second highest GDP in the world, but if you look on the other hand, GDP / capita, so they are only at about 100th place in the world. This is partly because China has some state monopolies leading to officers abuse their power to exploit the population. Instead of giving higher wages and make it better for the people so they keep instead the big winnings entirely for themselves. It is also because China has a lack of democracy happy lights where the government happy lights lacks determination and has not intention to fight corruption at all. A while ago a survey showed that 90 percent of the public wanted it to be mandatory for officials to declare their wealth, but 97 percent of the officers were against happy lights this.
There are not really any clear limit on when you can call for an industrialized country. As one of the world's biggest exporting countries, and the world's second largest economy, one would probably be happy to call China a Developed country. But given the already large and growing gap between rich and poor, and the proportion who live in absolute poverty, corruption and lack of democracy, it is my personal opinion that China is still very much a developing country.
